Biohort Factory III
A comprehensive firefighting infrastructure was installed for the Biohort Plant III in Drautendorf: 12,200 sprinkler heads, 32 indoor hydrants, and a 1,200 m long outdoor hydrant ring with seven hydrants. The supply is provided by a pump center with two sprinkler pumps (each 10,000 l/min at 9 bar) and two steel tanks, each with a capacity of 425,000 l. The site thus has a powerful and self-sufficient fire extinguishing system.

Comprehensive Fire Protection Modernisation
For the Libyan steel plant LISCO in Misurata, a comprehensive fire protection project was implemented that included the modernisation and expansion of all fire detection, water, and foam extinguishing systems. In addition, old halon gas extinguishing systems were replaced with modern nitrogen and CO₂ extinguishing systems, providing the plant with a fully autonomous fire protection and maintenance infrastructure.

Gas Extinguishing System
For the expansion of the Búrfell hydropower plant, ACCURO Sonderlöschanlagen GmbH was commissioned by ANDRITZ Hydro to implement a comprehensive fire protection system. A nitrogen extinguishing system and a modern fire detection system reliably protect the generator, oil, and switch rooms, enabling both automatic and manual activation in the event of a fire.

Power Plant Fire Protection
As part of the rehabilitation of the largest hydropower plant in Nurek, Tajikistan, the fire detection, control, and extinguishing systems were completely renewed by ACCURO Sonderlöschanlagen GmbH. Extinguishing System for Diesel Power Plant
MAN Diesel & Turbo constructed a power plant for the Arabian Cement Company (ACC) in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, to supply electricity to a cement factory. ACCURO Sonderlöschanlagen provided the complete fire extinguishing system, including the fire detection system, gas extinguishing system (HFC227ea/FM200), foam extinguishing system, and water spray extinguishing system, ensuring comprehensive fire protection for the facility.

Gas Extinguishing System for Sensitive Storage Rooms
For Unterweger Oils GmbH in Assling (East Tyrol), ACCURO Sonderlöschanlagen GmbH implemented a multi-zone ACCURATFLOW-INERT gas extinguishing system using nitrogen to protect the valuable essential oils. The residue-free extinguishing concept preserves product quality and ensures reliable safety. ACCURO handled the planning, installation of the gas extinguishing system including fire detection and control, as well as commissioning, training, and certification by an authorised inspection body — all from a single source.

Fire Protection for Listed Architecture
For the Kunsthaus Gmünd in Carinthia, ACCURO Sonderlöschanlagen GmbH implemented a low-pressure water mist extinguishing system from the manufacturer VID FIREKILL as part of the renovation of a listed historic building. Since adding an additional staircase or implementing conventional structural fire protection measures would have unacceptably affected the historic fabric, preventive fire protection was achieved entirely through the extinguishing system.

High-Pressure Water Mist Extinguishing System at the Limberg III Pumped-Storage Power Plant

Site Security for Recycling Facilities
In 2021, ACCURO took on the planning, supervision, and delivery of specialized components for object protection in the recycling sector for Egger Holzwerkstoffe GmbH.
